The Firm is seeking a part-time clerk/runner for our Memphis, Tennessee office. The schedule for the part-time position would be midday - 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday, approximately 20-25 hours per week. Requirements:
Essential Functions:
- Pick-up/delivery of interoffice items such as files, interoffice envelopes, outgoing mail etc.
- Sort/distribute incoming mail.
- Apply postage to outgoing mail.
- Pick-up/drop off mail from local post office.
- Drop off packages to overnight boxes.
- Complete copy/scan/fax jobs as needed.
- Bind documents when requested.
- Various driving errands such as court filings, deliveries to other law firms, etc.
- Pick-up lunch orders for meetings as needed.
- Answer the phone as needed.
- Other duties may be may be assigned by supervisor.
- This position requires that the employee be able to lift boxes up to approximately 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk up/down stairs.
- Must have reliable transportation, driver's license and proof of insurance for driving errands.
- High school diploma or GED
