·        Assist with discovery, document production, and preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials in bankruptcy-related litigation and avoidance actions.

·        Communicate with court personnel and other parties regarding procedural and administrative matters.

·        Coordinate hearings, filings, service of documents, and other case-related logistics.

·        Track case developments and proactively identify upcoming deadlines and outstanding tasks.

·        Assist attorneys with research relating to bankruptcy procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.

·        Provide guidance and support to junior paralegals and legal assistants as needed.

Qualifications

·        Minimum of 5 years of bankruptcy paralegal experience in a law firm, with substantial experience handling Chapter 11 matters.

·        Experience supporting complex commercial bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters.

·        Strong knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and local bankruptcy court procedures.

·        Proficiency with CM/ECF and PACER; experience filing in multiple bankruptcy jurisdictions preferred.
