Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Food and Beverage, located in Banner Elk, NC. The Director of Food and Beverage will oversee the operational and financial performance of dining services within the property. Responsibilities include managing food service operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, supervising culinary teams, creating and implementing food and beverage strategies, and maintaining budgetary compliance. The role also involves fostering team leadership, optimizing service efficiency, and driving innovative solutions to elevate the guest dining experience.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Customer Satisfaction, Food & Beverage, and Food Service management
- Proficiency in Culinary Skills and the ability to lead culinary teams effectively
- Demonstrated expertise in Budgeting and financial oversight to achieve operational goals
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety standards in food and beverage services
- Ability to develop and implement innovative dining concepts and strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with boutique or luxury property food and beverage programs is a plus
