About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Associate Teacher to join our educational team in Bedford, NH. In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that fosters early childhood development for ages 6 weeks to 8 months. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring educator to gain hands-on classroom experience while making a meaningful impact on young learners. Hours for this program are a rotating schedule of 7 am to 4 pm and 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities specific to this age group
- Provide individualized support to students to encourage social, emotional, and individual growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with state regulations.
- Observe and document student progress, sharing insights with the Lead Teacher and parents.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 9 credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or school setting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive background check and fingerprinting process.
Nice to Have
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

About RainbowLand Child Development Center
RainbowLand was founded in 1999 and is a licensed facility through the State of New Hampshire. We are open throughout the year from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. We have been in business for 24 years. Owner is a part of the work force. She works along side her teachers every day to help and support the staff in any way possible. She believes in being the substitute teacher when necessary. We believe in smaller ratios when humanly possible, infants and toddler classes are the perfect example. We have individual classrooms for each age.
RainbowLand educates children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Although the center is equipped and licensed for a total of 105 children, we only enroll approximately 80 to ensure the highest quality of education and personal attention.
Salary : $18 - $20
