Job Summary:
Perform analysis and reconciliations of banking reports and accounts, and handle other account analysis, as needed
General Duties/Responsibilities:
· Analyze and reconcile banking transactions using T-Recs/IDM (for deposit transactions) for 400-500 stores
· General ledger entries related to bank reconciliations
· Review new store sales reports
· Reconciliation of ACH/Wire Payments in Chase banking system
· Analysis of E-Commerce /security deposits GL account
· Reconciliation of Chase ACH/Discovery benefits account
· General Ledger reconciliation
· Assisting with quarterly unemployment insurance filings
· Handling any issues related to bank accounts
· Performs other related duties as assigned
· Preparation of banking papers for signature
[Required Skills/Abilities: /b]
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software as well as accounting software (T-Recs/IDM)
· Understanding of accounting procedures
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail
· Ability to manage confidential information
[b]Education and Experience:
· Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
· At least two years of experience in finance/ accounting required
· Retail experience a plus
· Knowledge of bank reconciliations
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
