(RROL), a privately-owned custom and precision optics manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a Thin Films Coating Technician at its facility located in Centennial, Colorado. RROL has been providing high quality custom optics to the defense, medical, commercial, and laser markets for over 20 years.

Job Description
The Coating Technician is responsible for learning and performing various optical coating processes.
Additionally, this position requires compliance with ITAR Regulations, therefore all employees working in this capacity must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident. Candidate must have the ability to work off-hours as needed to meet business and customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
The incumbent performs optical process steps including but are not limited to:
- Preparation of optical devices for coating operations
- Cleaning optical devices
- Inspecting optical devices
- Loading optical components into chambers
- Sets up tooling
- Operation and maintenance of a cabinet-style sandblaster
- Some physical strains, such as long periods of standing and walking in production facility and lifting of moderately heavy items such as test equipment kits and product cases.
- Other physical demands include climbing, crouching, and reaching.
Education and Experience
- High School Degree or equivalent; Associate of Science Degree Preferred
- or 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires On- the- Job training of specific operation of machinery and/or processes.

- Incumbent must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Must successfully complete and pass a background check
- Must pass drug screening
- Must speak, read and write Basic English
