What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Coach & Mentor: Supervise and assist adult trainees during daily vocational and hands-on work programs.
- Personalized Support: Build real connections with trainees to understand their emotional needs, individual goals, and skill levels.
- Skills Development: Guide individuals through task completion, teamwork, and behavioral goals to foster independence.
- Collaborative Safety: Partner closely with the Vocational Director to maintain a clean, organized, secure, and positive Christian work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Age & Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Credentials: Must hold a valid Driver's License.
- Experience: 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred (educational coursework or specialized training can also be considered).
- Background Check: Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and clean drug test.
- Key Traits: Strong communication skills, adaptability, patience, and a genuine heart for helping others succeed.
Salary : $34,541 - $55,950
