Salary Range: $18-$22/hour
Rainbow Companies is looking for a Fleet Lube Technician! You will help maintain and repair fleet vehicles and service equipment. Responsibilities include routine preventive maintenance such as oil and filter changes, fluid checks, greasing, tire rotations, basic repairs, recordkeeping, and shop upkeep. You will follow safety procedures and assist with more advanced mechanical work as needed.
We provide paid, on-the-job training, required certifications, and all shop and mobile tools. This is a full-time weekday position with overtime available. Vehicles and equipment are housed at our Minnetonka, Little Canada, and Burnsville locations.
What You Will Do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and service equipment, including oil and filter changes, fluid level checks, greasing, and tire rotations
- Conduct basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
- Assist mechanics with more complex mechanical work as needed
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Keep shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or a GED
- Valid driver’s license and commitment to safe driving
- Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years related work experience
- 2-year technical degree or 4 years related work experience
- Commercial driver license ability to obtain within 90 days (we pay for test)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to conditions including chemicals, the use of tools, and equipment. Safety precautions must be followed at all times, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
