Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and implementing best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Must be able to come in 7:00AM.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare laws such as mandated reporting laws is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and social skills development.
