This is more than an IT role—it's an opportunity to shape the future of technology across a growing resort, partner with leadership, and create secure, high-performing systems that power every part of our operation.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) with company match to support your future
  • Free employee lunch meals every shift
  • Opportunity to build and lead your own IT team
  • Be part of a growing property with exciting expansion plans
  • A workplace that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Do

As our IT Manager, you’ll oversee all technology systems across the casino, hotel, and administrative operations—ensuring performance, security, and compliance while driving innovation.

Systems Management & Operations

  • Lead installation, configuration, and management of core systems including gaming, player tracking, Title 31, PMS, and POS
  • Oversee networks, servers, backups, cybersecurity infrastructure, Wi-Fi, phone, and A/V systems
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability across all departments

Regulatory & Security Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Tribal, state, and federal gaming regulations
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
  • Partner with the Tribal Gaming Commission and auditors on system access, logs, and compliance
  • Safeguard financial, guest, and employee data with strong security practices

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor an internal IT team
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and system partners
  • Provide training and support to team members across the organization
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans

Strategic Planning & Innovation

  • Partner with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business goals
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency, security, and guest experience
  • Support future growth initiatives including system integrations, mobile technology, and cashless gaming

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
(Advanced degree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNA preferred)
  • 7 years of progressive IT experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in casino, gaming, or hospitality environments strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including Title 31 and gaming standards
  • Strong leadership, project management, and vendor management skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable communication
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, high-energy casino and resort setting
  • Must be comfortable working in a smoke-filled and active environment
  • Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods, and manage competing priorities
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. and handle both physical and mental demands

Be Part of Something Bigger

At Rain Rock Casino Resort Hotel, you’ll play a critical role in powering the systems behind an exceptional guest experience—while building a strong team and driving innovation across the property.
