About the Role:
The Pool Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all guests at our facility. This position involves monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall guest experience. The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, including the pool itself, surrounding deck, and amenities. To help create an exceptional experience for our guests throughout their pool experience, you will be taking and serving food and drink orders, while also resolving guest issues as they arise. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with guests to address their needs and concerns promptly. The pool attendant is a seasonal position from May- September.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety and compliance with all safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pool area, including regular cleaning and chemical balancing of the pool water.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating pool-related events and activities as needed.
- Taking food & drink orders from guests at the pool and retrieving from kitchen throughout the day.
- Work as a team to ensure all daily tasks are complete throughout the shift.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, service oriented, attention to detail and problem-solving skills required.
- Be well organized and function well under pressure.
Working Conditions
Must be able to work in varying weather conditions (primarily outdoors), lift items over 20lbs, hear and speak clearly.
