Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To
- Analyze project documents for risk, schedule, and profitability.
- Review plans/specs and prepare complete, accurate bid proposals.
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, subcontractors, and crews.
- Compare current bids to historical data and manage post-bid documentation.
- Build and manage project budgets and documentation.
- Communicate with owners, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Visit project sites to evaluate methods and progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proven track record estimating civil projects up to $50M. Experience with larger projects ($100M ) is preferred.
- Skilled in construction means/methods and production for structures, roadways, sitework, and utilities. Experience with trackwork is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail.
- 10 years in Estimating/Project Management.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Blue Beam, Heavy Bid.
- Ability to deliver winning, value-driven bids.
- Knowledge of union agreements is a plus.
- Experience with alternate delivery methods (e.g. Design Build) is a plus.
Salary : $175,000 - $220,000
