What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jockey Driver/Groundsperson position at Rail Management Services?
This role combines driving and ground work:
- Operate a jockey truck to move 53-foot trailers, containers, and chassis
- Climb on and off railcars, secure tracks, and handle connectors
- Assist crane operators using hand signals
- Stack and unstack chassis, load and unload racks
- Perform other duties in a fast-paced, team environment

- Starting at $19.00/hr
- Overtime available
- Potential to earn 50,000 to 65,000 dollars per year
- Must be available for night and weekend shifts

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a 7-year background check
- No felonies in the last 7 years or jail time in the last 5 years
- Pass a drug test and physical capabilities test
- No diploma or GED required
- Must live within 45 minutes of the terminal (Wall, PA)
- No relocation assistance provided
