POSITION: Guest Services Coordinator
PAY RATE: Starts @ $18.00/hr
JOB TYPE: Part-time, Seasonal
Overview:
The Guest Services Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and memorable experience for every Rail Explorers guest. As the first point of contact, this role manages guest check-in, reservations, retail sales, and customer communication while ensuring each tour is prepared for a safe and efficient departure. Guest Services Coordinators are cross-trained in tour operations and may provide operational support as needed. This position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the overall success of daily operations.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
● Welcome and check in guests
● Verify reservations and waivers
● Answer questions and provide exceptional customer service
● Maintain the gift shop and process retail sales
● Operate and maintain cash drawer/SQUARE
● Stock Inventory
● Coordinate with Tour Captains to prepare for each tour
● Keep the guest areas clean, organized, and welcoming - to include restroom trailers
● Cross-train as a guide to support tour operations as needed
● Learn safe bike handling
Essential for this Position:

● Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
● Team player willing to learn new skills
● Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
