Production Assistant

The Production Assistant, Historical Content for the Las Vegas Raiders will play an integral role in preserving, showcasing, and celebrating the rich history of the organization through compelling video content. This individual will work closely with a dynamic team of video professionals to support the research, development, and production of archival storytelling pieces that reflect the legacy of the Silver and Black. From sourcing and cataloging historical footage to assisting on set during shoots, this role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for both history and sports media.

Essential Job Functions:

• Catalog and support 65 years of historical content for the Raiders including but not limited to — interviews, game and practice footage, photos, newspapers and memorabilia
• Assist with pre-production, on-set shoots (interviews and events), and post-production of historical features for various media platforms including but not limited to — television, digital and social media channels, etc.
• Conduct research and gather information
• Draft interview questions
• Digitize various tape formats, e.g., mini-DV, Beta SP, Beta SX, DVC-Pro and DVD
• Edit string-outs of historical content, compile and organize interview sound on various subjects onto a Premiere Pro timeline for editors and producers

Qualifications:

• Four-year college/university degree in-progress or completed
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

• Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
• Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
