M-F start time: 9am, Weekends start time: 10am: Holidays and all weekends required.
Pay:
starts at $14 per hour with raise once training is complete (raises based on past experience, work performance and attendance.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeping Room Inspector and Bedmaker, you will be responsible for ensuring all Guest Rooms and Common areas meet Hotel standards. This will include maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests. This is a vital role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
-Inspecting guest rooms and common areas once housekeeping has deemed the rooms/area clean and ready for inspection
-Assisting housekeepers complete rooms and other daily tasks
-Making beds in between inspecting rooms
You will also be expected to:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and common areas
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping and room inpsection requied
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on guest needs and hotel occupancy levels
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and fellow team members
