Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Subaru Technician to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive technology, particularly Subaru vehicles, and a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. All our technicians create customized MPI videos for every vehicle they service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Subaru vehicles including engine, transmission, electrical, and braking systems.
- Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues and ensure repairs are done correctly.
- Follow all manufacturer and dealership procedures to ensure quality service.
- Communicate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and updates on vehicle status.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Keep abreast of the latest Subaru technology and participate in ongoing training.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Technical certification from an accredited automotive school or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automotive technician, with a preference for Subaru or other Asian import experience.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and computer systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- ASE Certification or Subaru Master Technician certification is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have active NH State Inspection License.
