Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies to sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces effectively
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to maintain a professional appearance
- Assist with custodial duties like waste removal and restocking supplies to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support basic facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues needing attention
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Ensure all cleaning tools and materials are stored properly and equipment is maintained in good working order
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial environments preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and general facilities maintenance
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
- Reliable with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
