What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Auto Detailer / Mobile Detail Lead — Production Pay Opportunity position at RAG's Mobile Detailing?
This is not a basic car-wash position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, respects client vehicles, can follow a professional system, and wants the opportunity to earn more as their skill and efficiency improve.
You will be working with professional-grade equipment, established packages, proven service systems, and a company that cares about quality—not rushed, careless work.
Pay Structure
- $15/hour during training
- Once trained and approved to work independently: production-based pay at $20 per assigned labor hour
- The more efficiently you complete assigned services while meeting RAG’s quality standards, the more you can earn per actual hour worked.
- Strong detailers can earn well above a standard hourly detailing position through quality, organization, and efficient work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Completing mobile interior, exterior, full-detail, and maintenance services
- Safely driving and maintaining the company mobile unit
- Setting up, breaking down, restocking, and keeping equipment organized
- Following RAG’s detailing processes, service checklists, and quality standards
- Taking before-and-after photos and documenting vehicle condition
- Communicating professionally with clients
- Reporting heavy-condition vehicles, added work, damage concerns, or anything outside the scheduled scope
What We’re Looking For
- Detailing experience strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation to our Tilton location
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Attention to detail—this matters here
- Ability to work physically, including bending, standing, moving equipment, and working outdoors
- Someone who wants to grow with a real detailing business—not just pick up temporary work
We will train you in the RAG’s process, but you must be willing to learn, follow systems, take direction, and perform work the right way every time.
