As a Infrastructure Engineer, Automation,
on the Platform team, you will be the backbone of our engineering operations, building and maintaining the infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines that enable our software teams to ship code efficiently and securely. • Own the architecture and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software artifacts
  • Manage containerized applications and environments using Docker, ensuring efficient resource utilization and isolation
  • Perform advanced administration of RHEL environments, including patching, security hardening, and performance tuning
  • Develop custom automation scripts and tools using Python and Shell (Bash) to streamline operational tasks
  • Work closely with software engineers to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize the development feedback loop
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with 3 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 1 year of experience

  • Deep understanding of Linux fundamentals, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management

  • Proficiency with GitLab (administering runners, writing .gitlab-ci.yml configurations, and managing repositories)

  • Strong programming skills in Python and Shell/Bash scripting for automation and system tasks

  • Experience running and managing containers using Docker or Podman

Highly preferred:
  • Experience configuring and managing Red Hat IdM (Identity Management) or FreeIPA

  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) or OpenShift for container orchestration

  • Familiarity with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for centralized logging and monitoring

  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud environments

  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Active Secret security clearance
Work Type:
  • Onsite daily in Colorado Springs, CO
  • May require up to 15% travel
Salary Range:
  • $135,000 - $150,000
  • The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
