About Miriam

Miriam is a celebrated neighborhood restaurant group rooted in warm hospitality and soulful

Mediterranean cooking. Our newest location in the heart of the West Village opens in August

bringing vibrant energy, thoughtful food, and a welcoming spirit to one of NYC’s most iconic

neighborhoods.

We are looking for hospitality-driven Servers to join our opening team and help create

exceptional guest experiences from day one.

The Role:

As a Server at Miriam, you will be a key part of delivering hospitality that feels personal,

genuine, and full of heart. You will guide guests through the menu, build connections at the

table, and bring positive energy to every shift. This is a fast-paced, high-touch role best suited for

those who love people, take pride in great service, and enjoy working as part of a tight-knit team.

You’ll work closely with our kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver top-notch service with

warmth and efficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Be the face of the restaurant—setting the tone for every guest interaction with warmth,

• knowledge, and professionalism

• Provide warm, engaging service that reflects Miriam’s values and culture

• Guide guests through our food and beverage offerings with enthusiasm and knowledge

• Communicate clearly with kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth service

• Use our POS system to accurately and efficiently take and process orders

• Ensure food and drinks are delivered promptly and meet our quality standards

• Support a clean, welcoming, and well-run dining room

• Contribute to a positive team dynamic and jump in where needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant (Mediterranean cuisine a plus)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• A sense of urgency, awareness, and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask while maintaining warmth and poise

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• A collaborative, team-first mindset and a passion for hospitality
