Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets using project management tools.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed construction estimates and budgets; monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce accurate drawings, models, and presentations.
- Coordinate construction management activities including site visits, quality control inspections, and compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors; manage procurement processes for materials and services.
- Oversee renovation projects and interior design components to ensure cohesive aesthetic and functional outcomes.
- Facilitate effective communication across all stakeholders; prepare comprehensive reports including project schedules using tools like Project scheduling software.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project scheduling, construction estimating, budgeting, and contract negotiation within architectural or construction environments.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM); experience with AutoCAD preferred.
- Skilled in 3D modeling software including Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, management practices, and renovation projects.
- Excellent drafting skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to produce precise technical drawings and presentations.
- Effective business development capabilities to foster client relationships and identify new project opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to manage contracts and vendor relationships confidently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for presentation development; experience with Bluebeam for document review is advantageous.
