Raeford Hardware is a locally owned and operated hardware store with a strong presence in the outdoor power equipment industry. We are an authorized dealer for industry-leading brands including Husqvarna, Hustler, Wright, Stihl, Billy Goat, Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, and Honda.
We sell, service, and supply parts for a wide range of outdoor power equipment and are looking for a motivated team member to join our growing dealership.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble new lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, generators, and other outdoor power equipment
- Look up and identify parts using computer systems
- Order special-order parts and maintain stocked inventory
- Stock shelves and keep the parts department organized
- Assist customers with purchasing new mowers and equipment
- Process credit applications for equipment purchases
- Tag, document, and check in equipment needing repair
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom and parts area
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Experience with small engine equipment required
- Familiarity with small engine parts and service procedures is a plus
- Basic computer skills for parts lookup and ordering
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
Schedule
- Full-time position
- 5 days per week (Monday–Saturday)
- One weekday off during the week
- Saturday work required
- Optional Saturday rotation (one Saturday off every 3 weeks)
Pay
- Pay will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications
