Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Subcontractor/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including material handling and site cleanup
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to support construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with installation and fabrication tasks
- Support carpentry, roofing, masonry, concrete finishing, drywall installation, and other trades as needed
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall hanging, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and other labor-intensive tasks
- Assist with plumbing, electrical work, caulking, plastering, stucco application, glass installation, cabinet installation, and restoration projects
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
- Basic understanding of construction management principles or estimating is advantageous but not required
