Rae Showroom is a women’s contemporary apparel showroom with locations in the Portland Metro Area and Los Angeles offering brand representation in the apparel industry for the West Coast.  We are a multi-brand agency where we curate chic womenswear and premium fashion collections from around the world to best suite and inspire our audience.  Our primary role is to introduce & sell these brands to brick-and-mortar stores, online retailers, and major department stores seasonally.  This all takes place thru outreach, marketing, trades shows, and in-person meetings. 

Role Description

This is an in-person role for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator in our Portland Showroom.  You will be supporting the execution of entire sales process to include first steps of outreach all the way to final order management.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in customer service, marketing, and comfortable with selling 
• Tech savvy with proficiency and currently using Canva, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite etc.
• Able to pick up quickly on industry specific software programs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on email and phone outreach
• Able to make phone calls, appointments, and manage showroom calendar
• Experience using or running a social media account
• Attention to detail, follow up, time management, quick learner, and ability to prioritize tasks
• Problem solving skills/know how thru creative thinking
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fast paced environment
• Must have an interest in fashion and a fashionable presence
• Must be capable and willing physically to manage samples in the showroom & to/from trade shows
• Periodic travel is required: markets, trade shows and in-store appointments
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Fashion Merchandising/Marketing Degree

Summary 

As a sales and marketing coordinator you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer experiences and assisting in sales efforts.  Your cores skills in effective communication will enable you to assist customers with their needs while managing order taking effectively. With top skills in merchandising and social media management, you will contribute to showcasing our products thru marketing efforts.  Your ability to work with Canva, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office will support the overall day to day, making you a vital part of our small team here. 

Compensation

Starting range:   $23-$25 an hour based on experience 

Bonus potential 

Business hours with occasional weekends during trade show season
