A locksmith apprentice assists experienced locksmiths in repairing, installing, and adjusting locks and security devices.

- Install, Service and Repair various types of systems integration systems and components
- Program Security Systems
- Maintains records of work performed
- Ensures proper care, in the use of maintaining equipment and supplies
- Participate in Technician on Call Schedule
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties assigned
- Executes work in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures
- 2 years of locksmithing experience
- Skills in using locksmith tools and machines
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with the customer along with the ability to identify and satisfy customer needs
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions
- Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure
- Basic computer skills
- A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
- A valid Texas Locksmith License is required for this position
- Ability to work independently on customer site
- Ability to meet deadlines and have strong time management and organizational skills
- Any other duties as assigned
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Be able to lift up to 20lbs
- Walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, climbing on ladders
- Must pass background check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen
