Director of Rehabilitation
Rae-Ann Westlake, a family-owned business with a proud 45-year history of delivering excellence in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and assisted living, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Rehabilitation will be responsible for leading our rehabilitation department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs and services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of rehabilitation professionals, ensuring staff development and retention
Analyze and report on departmental performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and drive continuous quality improvement throughout the organization
Requirements
Current professional licensure and certification(s) as a therapist (e.g., OT, PT, SLP)
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Familiarity with PointClickCare and NetHealth
