Rady Children's Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Rady Children's Hospital and Health Center with just over 500 employees. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 28 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.
RCPMS seeks friendly and motivated individuals for our open Call Center Representative positions (also known as Scheduling Representative).
The Call Center Representative (also known as Scheduling Representative) is a position under the supervision of the Call Center Supervisor that answers routine patient phone calls. The Scheduler works with patients, families and other customers in a courteous and professional manner and is expected to be fully capable of providing excellent customer service as the primary phone contact for patients and families. The Scheduling Representative will be trained to handle scheduling all types of visits and managing the phones for pediatric primary care physician offices. The Scheduler will receive training on RCPMS procedures and policies, including but not limited to: customer service, registration of patients, phone etiquette and appointment scheduling. The Scheduling Representative is the main point of phone contact for established patients and sets the tone for the patient experience.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience working with the public either in person or on the phone, preferably in a call-center environment.
- Medical Administration Program from an accredited institution may be substituted for customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills via the telephone.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations.
- Ability to operate office equipment including photocopiers, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of computer software used for patient registration, patient scheduling and check in.

The reasonably expected starting hourly wage range for this position is $21.43-$24.29 depending on qualifications including education and relevant experience.
