What You'll Do
Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, you will perform a variety of accounting and financial analysis functions that contribute to the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Key responsibilities include:
- Perform month-end close activities, reporting, and account reconciliations to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze General Ledger account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
- Complete regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Participate in financial and operational audits, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal reporting standards.
- Conduct project-based financial analysis and deliver meaningful reporting insights to management.
- Identify, recommend, and support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness within accounting operations.
- Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- CPA certification or CPA track is a plus.

The recruiting base salary range for this FULL TIME position is $70000- 85,000/year plus annual company bonus. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on company performance.
