What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Hospital Receptionist position at Radnor Veterinary Hospital?
Our hospital is looking for a veterinary receptionist to provide excellent client service to our veterinary hospital and dog daycare clients. We see dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small animals, and wildlife! No two work days are ever the same.
Candidates should have a background in reception and administrative support, ideally with at least one year of veterinary hospital experience.
The receptionist handles all administrative aspects of an animal's entry and exit from our facility involving computer record keeping, payment processing, vaccination and behavior tracking, and schedule keeping. Every aspect of a patient's care is managed within a database as we are a paperless practice, so computer skills are required. If you have great attention to detail, you'd be a great fit for this job!
Full-time receptionists enjoy a set schedule working mostly mornings and afternoons. The position calls for one Saturday morning per month. Benefits include health insurance with an HRA card, and a generous employee discount.
Applicants must have reliable transportation. This is a long-term career position. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE. Our phones are very busy, which is why we're looking for you!
