Seeking Full Time Shop Technician/Apprentice Machine Operator
Shop Technician/Apprentice assists the CNC Machinists in production of quality machined parts in a busy precision machine shop. Opportunity for job growth/on the job training for candidates interested in the field of manufacturing.
Requirements
- Possess a positive, team-focused attitude
- Able to use hand tools
- Able to accurately complete basic mathematical calculations
- Able to use/read measuring tools
- Basic computer literacy - ability to enter information into Word documents & Excel spreadsheets
- Willingness and ability to learn and apply new skills & information
- Must be able to lift 60lbs
- Reaching, standing, and stretching required
- High School Diploma required; tech program a plus
- Experience in a hands-on/mechanical environment a plus
Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving functions
- Assists with cataloging inventory
- Parts washing
- Other duties as assigned
Shop Technician/Apprentice position includes on-the-job training to operate CNC Lathes/Mills. Qualified candidate will learn to read technical drawings, measure, and examine parts according to specifications. Work takes place in an environment with moderate noise level.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
