We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support our General Dentistry practice by efficiently managing patient preparation and chairside assistance. The ideal candidate will be experienced in dental instrument handling, sterilization, and infection control, working closely under the direct supervision of the Dentist to ensure smooth clinical operations and excellent patient care across a medium daily patient volume.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort
- Handle and organize dental instruments and materials
- Provide chairside assistance during treatments and procedures
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of instruments and clinic areas
- Manage dental inventory and supplies efficiently
- Assist regularly with dental radiography and imaging as required
- Maintain strict infection control protocols throughout the clinic
- Positive team oriented attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in dental assisting
- Certificate or diploma in dental assisting
- Knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Expertise in sterilization procedures and infection control
- Patient care skills with a focus on comfort and safety
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities
