When you join us as a Patient Education Specialist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.You Will:Offer dedicated consultation services to all screening mammography patients regarding EBCDProvide clear, understandable information to patients about the importance of regular screening and early breast cancer detectionAddress any misconceptions or concerns patients may have regarding breast health of EBCD by offering data and statistics related to EBCDMaintain accurate records of patient education efforts, including information provided, patient feedback, and any concerns raised during the educational processContribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction assessments by providing feedback from patients on their educational experienceStay abreast of the latest statistics and marketing tools related to EBCDAttend relevant meetings to improve skills and knowledge related to EBCD and patient educationProactively contact future scheduled patients to review EBCD advantages in attempt to have patients add on the EBCD serviceProvide educational information and assist in campaign roll-outs to selected patients.Works closely with the Vice President of Women’s Health Services to drive growth in EBCD conversion rates in the assigned Imaging CenterYou Are:Genuinely passionate about customer service and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situationsAble to demonstrate high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and have the ability to multitaskAble to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy providing world class customer serviceTo Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:Prior experience in patient education and healthcare communication is strongly preferredAt least 2 years of experience in training and presenting information to individuals or groups, strongly preferredExperience in breast health education or radiology is highly desirableExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain medical information in a clear and compassionate mannerAbility to work with diverse populations, addressing varied health literacy levels and cultural backgroundsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage patient needs simultaneouslyEmpathy, patience, and active listening skills to provide emotional support to patientsStrong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPointWe Offer: Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverages.Health Savings Accounts with employer funding.Wellness dollars401(k) Employer MatchFree services at any of our imaging centers for you and your immediate family.
