Trading Operations Engineer

One of our clients in the HFT space is looking for a Trade Operations Engineer to manage their trading production environment and support Portfolio Managers and Traders across a variety of asset classes. This is a junior-mid level / associate position and is an excellent opportunity for someone with either a few years working in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds or Prop Trading that is looking to move into a fully remote setup.

$100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary Performance Based Bonuses

Who you are -

• Experience in Trade ops, Monitoring, or support roles within trading / finance
• Skilled with Linux Shell, Bash or Powershell
• Skilled with Git Workflows
• Understanding of networking
• Exposure to Grafana dashboards
• Understanding of Python
• Solid documentation skills and highly organised
• Excellent communicator
• Thrive in fast past environments and has a keen interest in trading

What you'll do -

• Operate in a Linux based trading environment, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining complex trading systems built on Linux
• Build and monitor Grafana dashboards
• Assist in scripting and automation in Python
• Collaborate closely with PMs and Traders to ensure system reliability
• Act as a primary contact with exchanges and brokers, managing operational requests and communication
• Use Bash and SSH for server access and operational tasks
