We’re partnered with a fast-growing AI startup building next-generation workflow automation software for enterprise finance and accounting teams. The company is tackling one of the largest untouched opportunities in enterprise software, replacing repetitive, manual financial operations with intelligent, agent-driven systems integrated directly into core ERP platforms.

This is a high-impact Staff Product Engineering role for someone who enjoys operating across the stack, owning complex systems end-to-end, and working close to both customers and product strategy.

The opportunity

You’ll work on deeply technical, production-grade systems spanning backend architecture, financial data pipelines, AI-powered workflows, integrations, infrastructure, and frontend product surfaces. The role combines strong engineering fundamentals with real product ownership in a fast-moving environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and shipping full-stack product features end-to-end
• Building scalable backend systems and distributed workflows
• Working with complex financial and ERP data environments
• Developing configurable ingestion and automation pipelines
• Contributing to AI-powered workflow and agent systems
• Collaborating closely with product, design, and AI teams
• Driving engineering quality, reliability, and technical direction
• Mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across the team

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience building and shipping complex software products at scale
• Product-minded engineer comfortable owning problems end-to-end
• Strong backend/system design fundamentals
• Experience across modern engineering stacks and infrastructure
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining high quality standards
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and challenging assumptions
• Bonus points for fintech, ERP, accounting, or financial data experience

Tech environment

Python, distributed systems, AI tooling, modern cloud infrastructure, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and enterprise integrations.
