Production Engineer

One of our clients in the Trading industry is currently hiring to grow their teams across Philadelphia. The firm is a tier one investment firm that trades a variety of asset classes across TradFi and digital assets with a well established, global footprint.

Hiring for both Crypto and TradFi teams, who are searching for experienced and adaptable Production Engineers to join their front office trading teams to ensure reliability, availability and maximise uptime of trading applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology support to the Production environment and trading applications
• Be a primary point of contact for Traders, Quants, Developers and PMs
• Provide off-office hours support when necessary
• Participate in the management of all systems
• Support, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Research and develop new technology solutions
• Co-ordinate and create test and staging environments where necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
• Experience as a Trade Application Engineer in a top fund OR as an SRE in a top Big Tech team
• Networking
• Linux AND Cloud experience
• Python
• Bash for app debugs
• Infrastructure as Code
• Containerisation and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
