Retail Staff Pharmacist
Location: Hebron, NE 68370
Facility: Thayer County Health Services
Assignment: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM; rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM; No Holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay: $75–$85/hour
Job Summary
Thayer County Health Services is seeking a Retail Staff Pharmacist to provide safe, accurate, and patient-focused pharmacy services in a community retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications.
- Counsel patients on medication use and potential side effects.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
- Collaborate with providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Supervise pharmacy support staff and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Document pharmacy activities using Cerner EMR.
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist license must.
- PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Three (3) years of retail pharmacist experience preferred.
- Cerner EMR experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and customer service skills.
Additional Information
- Reports to the Retail Pharmacy Manager and Director of Pharmacy.
