Certified Nursing Assistant
Long term care
Shift: Days Nights
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks - 26 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Description:
- The Nursing Assistant performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary to address the personal need and comfort of patients in an environment that promotes dignity and healing.
- Performs vital signs and activities of daily living as outlined on plan of care inclusive of ADL's.
- Assists on hourly rounding and documents care rendered per guidelines.
- Meets nutrition needs of patients as outlined in the plan of care, and in accordance with policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification Required BLS (AHA or RQI specifically)
- One (1) Year of previous LTC experience or N.A. experience.
