Job Summary
The Residential Supervisor works closely with the Residential Director to ensure the development, implementation, and advancement of our mission.
This position is responsible for managing, leading, and supervising staff to ensure all are implementing evidence-based practices to fidelity, meeting regulatory and licensing requirements, and maintaining policies of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Executes organizational vision, values, and culture
- Responsible for hiring and supervising Youth Coaches
- Participate in the residential supervisor on call rotation to include working on shift when necessary/ required.
- Role model to youth and staff appropriate boundaries.
- Implement chosen evidence-based practices for residential program to fidelity including restorative practices
- Collaborates with In-Home Supervisors, School Administrator, and healthcare partner to ensure consistent quality and coordination of care across programs
- Maintains relationships with families of youth and others within the youth’s network of supports throughout the residential stay
- Responsible for scheduling of youth coaches across three awake shifts
- Ability to provide psycho-social and skills groups to youth in residential program
- Provides feedback, coaching, support, development and training to Youth Coaches to fulfill the mission of Radius and implement evidence-based practices
- Ability to intervene and support staff in high-risk situations with strong modelling, verbal de-escalation techniques, and crisis intervention approaches to maintain safety for all youth and staff
- Develop court reports and attend court hearing as needed
- Develop case plans and other paperwork as necessary

Position Requirements
- · Must be at least 21 years of age
· Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, public administration, criminal justice or related field required.
· 4 years’ experience in broad programmatic role
· 2 years supervisory experience; 1-year direct care experience
· CPR required
· Valid driver’s license
· Hours of Work: Expect to work 40 hours a week minimum.
Day shift - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Evening shift - 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Overnight shift - 11PM - 7:30 AM.
· Travel: Some travel required.
· Exposure: The exposure characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. For example, while performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Additionally, the employee may occasionally be exposed to bloodborne and other hazardous chemicals. Finally, the noise level in the work environment can be loud. In all cases personal protective equipment will be provided to the employee in combination with adequate ventilation and other engineering controls to minimize the risk of exposure or other hazardous occurrence.
