Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our rapidly growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct support for all business sales lines. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and an understanding of sales processes to help drive business growth and enhance client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supports sales group goals and objectives in all activities performed
- Maintain proper organization of the sales drive and archive sales folder.
- Organize, plan, schedule, and support in-house or outside customer training classes.
- Manage all bidding activity, including bid mining, bid log, managing of incoming bid requests (email, fax), RFI submissions, as well as log and track bidders on all work bid.
- Maintain all data/input in CRM related to sales activities – proposals, sales forecasts, prospecting activities, customer data, sales performance reports, etc.
- Work with Sales Staff to develop new customer prospects in the market segments designated by business sales goals.
- Assist in proposal process – Bid day proposal distribution and calls, fill out proposal documents/forms required for bid, obtaining bid bond, post-bid follow-up.
- Assist in performing, analyzing and/or distributing results of company surveys.
- Assures adherence to company and customer safety policies and procedures, supports company vision, mission, and goals, and complies with standards of conduct and appearance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Associates Degree in Marketing or related field; OR 4 years experience in a sales/marketing administrative role
- Fluent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, CRM, Acrobat
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules and priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Outstanding customer interface and human relations skills
- Fluent ability to work with laptops, tablets, smartphones
- Ability to work in a team environment
