What are the responsibilities and job description for the BAS Technician position at Radius Systems LLC?
Radius Systems provides Building Automation, Security, and Lighting services to facilities in Eastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey, and Delaware. Since 2006, we’ve helped our partners reduce energy and costs, simplify and unify HVAC controls through open protocol facility systems, and increase occupant comfort through highly responsive support and unparalleled technical expertise.
Our technicians are capable of performing all duties associated with installation oversight, checkout, and startup/commissioning of building automation systems. They have demonstrated knowledge and experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of building automation systems, as well as hands-on software/GUI experience, and a strong fundamental knowledge of HVAC. The in-house and on-the-job training they receive provides the foundation for growth within our organization.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High School Diploma
- 2-Year post-H.S. HVAC Degree, Certificate, or equivalent H.S. vocational technical
- training.
- Fundamental understanding of HVAC, control systems, and installation practices
- Minimum 1-year experience installing and servicing commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information about products and systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules and priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software a plus
- Fluent ability to work with laptops, tablets, and smartphones
- Outstanding customer interface and human relations skills
- Valid Driver’s License
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
