Overview
New Radius Taproom is hiring a Part-Time Taproom Bartender to provide excellent guest service in a bar-focused taproom environment. Our beverage program includes craft beer, crafted cocktails, a small wine menu, coffee drinks, and mocktails. Service is primarily bar service, with light table touch-backs and occasional bussing.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-moving hospitality environment, takes pride in cleanliness and organization, and communicates well with the team—especially in a large space with rotating inventory and occasional private events.
2 to 3 shifts per week. Shifts could include a mix of:
- Wednesday–Friday: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 4:30PM to 11:30PM
- Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient bar service and support the guest experience throughout the taproom
- Pour and serve beer; prepare cocktails; serve wine; prepare coffee drinks and mocktails
- Keep the bar, service areas, and guest-facing spaces clean and organized throughout the shift
- Complete opening/closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and basic prep/sidework
- Change kegs as needed and maintain safe, clean practices in the draft/storage areas
- Monitor inventory and communicate low stock, product needs, or issues to management
- Assist with private events and high-volume service periods as needed
- Coordinate smoothly with food truck operations:
- Light snacks available from the bar
- Guests order food truck items at the truck or via phone ordering
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be 21
- Prior bartending/taproom experience preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of beer and basic bar operations (tools, terminology, workflow) is a plus
- Strong customer service skills and a team-first attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Willingness to learn and follow standards (training will be provided)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift/move kegs and bar supplies as needed
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
