What You’ll Be Doing

May include, but not limited to:

• Separating linens and towels by type
• Washing linen following a pre-set formula, dry, fold and iron linen
• Operating laundry equipment
• Following all training procedures set forth pertaining to blood borne pathogens
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Maintains quality level of all linen
• Sort all linen in preparation of washing
• Wash linen following a pre-set formula, dry , fold and iron
• Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area
• Maintain stock levels
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform additional laundry services, as needed

What You Need for this Position

• 
  Mid shift availability: 11AM - 7:30 PM
• Ability to safely operate laundry equipment
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
• Able to stoop and bend
• Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
• Able to comply with safety and health code standards
• Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
