Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while efficiently handling all front desk operations. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience from arrival through departure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly.
- Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Resolve guest issues and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
Front Desk Operations
- Verify reservations and guest information.
- Process room payments, deposits, and incidental authorizations.
- Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system.
- Assign guest rooms according to hotel standards and guest preferences.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily balancing procedures.
- Complete shift reports and communicate important information during shift changes.
Revenue Generation
- Promote hotel amenities, dining options, and services.
- Offer room upgrades and participate in the Nor1 Upgrade Program.
- Enroll eligible guests in Choice Privileges and other hotel loyalty programs.
- Recognize and provide elevated service to Choice Privileges Elite Members and Expedia VIP guests.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
