Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth seating process.
- Take accurate breakfast orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage guest requests efficiently, addressing concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with basic food handling and sanitation duties to maintain a clean dining environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Proven time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and cashiering tasks accurately.
- Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food industry standards including upselling techniques and guest relations strategies.
