Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks across all areas of the facility
- Lead, motivate, and manage housekeeping staff to ensure high levels of performance, teamwork, and professionalism
- Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor staff productivity to meet operational goals efficiently
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and cleaning procedures aligned with industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support seamless operations
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs promptly and uphold exceptional customer service standards
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a hospitality or custodial environment with a strong background in team management
- Extensive custodial experience including commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, sanitation practices, and janitorial services
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cleaning teams with excellent managerial communication skills
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety protocols
- Experience overseeing laundry operations within a hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of management principles related to cleaning & sanitation management and team supervision
- Previous experience in hospitality or similar service-driven industries is highly desirable
