Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Houseman/Housekeeper/Laundry professional to support our hotel operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness throughout the property, ensuring our guests enjoy a spotless and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and the smooth running of our hotel.

Duties

• Perform floor cleaning and maintenance using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Handle cleaning tasks across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces with precision and care.
• Manage laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing efficiently.
• Use chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures.
• Conduct sanitation procedures in accordance with hotel standards and health regulations to maintain hygiene excellence.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts, cleaning equipment, or supplies to support operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or issues related to housekeeping services with professionalism and a service-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners effectively.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards, chemical handling, and floor care techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping operations or hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Pay: $17.55 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
