Job Title: IT Systems Manager
Location: Rivera Beach, FL.
Overview
The IT Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing, managing, and evolving the organization’s entire IT systems landscape. This role provides strategic leadership and hands-on management across infrastructure, applications, security, cloud services, and end-user computing. The IT Systems Manager ensures technology platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals, while leading system design, operations, and continuous improvement across the enterprise. This is a managerial role with full accountability for systems architecture, operations, vendor coordination, and long-term technology planning.
Key Responsibilities
< style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;"> < style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;">Systems & Infrastructure Management· Manage all enterprise IT systems including servers, networks, cloud platforms, applications, and end-user environments.
· Design, build, migrate, virtualize, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
· Oversee Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, and remote access services.
· Manage Microsoft 365 tenant administration including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate, and security configurations.
· Lead virtualization strategy and operations using Hyper-V and cloud services.

· Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud services.
· Oversee enterprise applications, databases, and internal systems including SQL, Access, and web-based platforms.
· Support business applications, integrations, and custom-developed systems.
< style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;"> < style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;">Network & Security· Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, cabling, and telecom systems.
· Ensure system security, reliability, monitoring, and compliance with best practices.
· Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans.
< style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;"> < style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;">Leadership & Management· Serve as the primary IT leader and decision-maker for the organization.
· Manage internal IT staff, vendors, consultants, and service providers.
· Define IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Lead IT budgeting, vendor negotiations, and technology procurement.
· Provide executive-level guidance on technology strategy, risks, and opportunities.
< style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;"> < style="margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;">Business Enablement & Innovation· Partner with business leaders to identify technology solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and revenue generation.
· Design and implement workflows and automated processes across departments.
· Support remote and mobile workforce technologies.
· Ensure high-quality IT customer service and end-user support.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 10 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration and infrastructure management.
· Proven experience managing enterprise-wide IT systems for mid-to-large organizations.
· Strong hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft 365 administration
o Windows Server platforms
o Active Directory and core infrastructure services
o Azure cloud services
o Virtualization (Hyper-V)
o Network administration and security
· Demonstrated experience leading IT projects, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience serving as the sole or lead IT authority for an organization.
· Proven experience managing IT systems in regulated, multi-site environments across multiple geographical locations.
· Background in systems architecture, application development, or database management.
· Experience with disaster recovery planning and cybersecurity strategy.
