What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting provider credentialing and maintaining compliance across multiple systems and organizations. Responsibilities include:
- Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications for physicians and advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, Radiology Assistants)
- Review applications for accuracy and completeness; prepare verification documentation
- Communicate with hospitals, licensing boards, and insurance carriers to verify provider credentials
- Track and renew licenses and certifications (e.g., Medical License, DEA, CSR, ACR, ISMA)
- Monitor Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements and notify providers of upcoming needs
- Maintain and update provider records in credentialing systems (including NPI and CAQH)
- Coordinate BLS training for providers as needed
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA privacy and security regulations
- Support ongoing process improvements and assist with additional administrative duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting preferred
Key Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google applications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
