Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Breast Scheduler to coordinate imaging appointments for referring physicians and patients. This role requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail to ensure a smooth scheduling process and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer multi-line phone system courteously and professionally, routing calls as needed
Schedule imaging appointments across multiple clinical sites, ensuring appropriateness of exams based on ordered diagnosis and established protocols
Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information into the RIS system
Assist patients with scheduling, answer inquiries, and provide a welcoming first impression
Resolve conflicting or missing orders by coordinating with referring physicians, supervisors, or lead technicians
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a medical office setting
Knowledge of radiologic procedures and medical terminology is desirable
Strong computer and customer service skills
